39Foundation Inc. is a student-led, family-supported nonprofit organization based in Ontario, California. We are dedicated to advancing educational opportunity and building steady, long-term support for students, teachers, and community partners in under-resourced environments.
Our work focuses on practical solutions—strengthening learning spaces, supporting educators, and providing tools that help students grow with confidence. Guided by a commitment to consistency, 39Foundation turns sustained giving into lasting impact.

The origins of 39Foundation trace back to a long-standing commitment to education within its founding family. Decades ago, an earlier generation devoted a lifetime to building and leading a rural school, instilling a belief that every child—regardless of circumstance—deserves access to learning.
Over many years, the family continued supporting schools quietly and consistently by addressing basic classroom needs. These early contributions, though modest, reflected a deeply rooted dedication to educational equity and became the foundation upon which today’s organization was built.

The modern mission of 39Foundation was shaped when its student founder participated in service programs across several countries. Through firsthand involvement in classrooms and youth communities in places such as Romania, Ecuador, and Mexico, he observed how limited resources and unequal access to education affect students’ opportunities and long-term development.
These international experiences underscored a core insight: meaningful change requires more than financial donations. It requires helping students understand the value of learning, encouraging dialogue, and creating environments where growth is possible. This realization marked the turning point that transformed long-standing family giving into a structured, education-focused nonprofit model.

39Foundation was established to formalize decades of educational support into a sustainable, student-led organization. The foundation’s creation reflected a new approach: pairing long-term financial commitment with programs that strengthen learning, expand access to resources, and promote the understanding of education’s transformative role.
By coordinating structured initiatives—such as educational programs, resource donations, community partnerships, and support for teachers—39Foundation provides a model of steady, thoughtful giving carried forward by the next generation.

Our programs focus on three pillars: strengthening learning environments, supporting community partners, and contributing to respected international nonprofits through monthly giving.
• Strengthening Learning Environments
We support under-resourced schools by providing essential tools such as computers, desks, classroom equipment, and student-led educational programs that encourage curiosity, confidence, and long-term growth.
• Community Support
We assist community organizations and local partners with furniture, technology, and resources that help restore dignity, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
• International Monthly Giving
— UNICEF USA: advancing children’s rights, safety, and education worldwide
— World Resources Institute (WRI): supporting environmental sustainability and research
— California Fire Foundation: aiding families and communities recovering from disasters
Across all initiatives, 39Foundation is guided by the belief that steady, thoughtful giving can create meaningful and lasting change.

39Foundation envisions a future where opportunity is shaped not by circumstance, but by access to meaningful learning. Our long-term goal is to expand steady educational support across regions and generations, building connections between students, educators, communities, and global partners.
We believe that quiet, consistent acts of generosity can influence futures far beyond what is immediately visible. By upholding this principle, 39Foundation seeks to continue transforming longstanding values into programs that uplift learners and strengthen communities.

Yanze Li is the founder of 39Foundation and a student at Oaks Christian High School in California. His commitment to service has been shaped through years of volunteer work across local community programs, youth initiatives, and city-supported service events. He has completed more than 200 hours of volunteer service and has been recognized with the Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Award for his sustained dedication to helping others.
Yanze’s experience working in communities strengthened his belief that meaningful change requires more than financial donations. While accompanying his family during visits to under-resourced schools, he observed firsthand how limited classroom tools and outdated equipment could restrict students’ opportunities. These experiences led him to propose creating a student-led foundation that places educational purpose, equitable opportunity, and steady support at its center.
With this vision, Yanze founded 39Foundation and now leads its programs, partnerships, and long-term strategy. Through initiatives such as digital learning support, classroom resource donations, academic talks, and global monthly giving, he works to help students broaden their perspectives and pursue education as a pathway toward dignity, confidence, and possibility.
