Inspiring talks and a first digital center

 In June 2025, 39Foundation visited Dongjian Middle School to host a special series of keynote talks and deliver a milestone gift. The event carried unique meaning, as three generations of the Li family shared their voices and stories with students.

• Yanze Li — “My American Life”  

Yanze shared his journey of studying and living in the United States, highlighting resilience, adaptation, and opportunity. His message encouraged students to see beyond limitations and to embrace education as a path to broader horizons.

• Yuehai Li — “The Meaning of Reading”  

Drawing from his own experience as a former student of the school, Yuehai emphasized the lifelong value of reading and learning. His speech underscored how knowledge shapes not only careers but also character and perspective.

• Zhenli Li — “The Founding Story of the School”  

As the founder of Dongjian Middle School, Zhenli shared the origins and vision of establishing the institution. This historical perspective connected past and present, reminding students that education is built on dedication and sacrifice.

The moment was even more remarkable: a founder, a former student, and the next generation stood together in the same school, bridging history and future. It became a living story of legacy, continuity, and hope.

As part of the event, 39Foundation donated 24 computers to establish the school’s very first digital learning center. This milestone gift will provide students with access to modern technology and open the door to new possibilities in education.
